I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, approved supervisor, and counselor educator with a PhD in Counseling. I provide individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults and bring several years of experience teaching, supervising, and training future counselors alongside my clinical work.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral (CBT) principles and aligns closely with Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). I value understanding how development, belief systems, relationship patterns, unmet needs, and personal values shape emotions, responses, experiences, and motivations for each individual. In therapy, we work collaboratively to build insight, develop practical coping tools, and support change that feels both meaningful and sustainable, helping you move toward the version of yourself you strive to be.
As a therapist, I see my role as coming alongside clients with care, curiosity, and respect, while also helping them understand the “why” behind their patterns and experiences. I strive to translate complex psychological insight into understanding that applies directly to each client’s life, so that we are not only addressing symptoms, but also identifying and strengthening the foundation beneath them. Over time, this depth of work supports an internal voice that becomes more informed, grounded, and self-supportive. My goal is to help clients become thoughtful stewards of their own mental health, equipped to guide themselves with clarity, compassion, and confidence long after therapy ends.

Through these experiences, I have developed a deep appreciation for people who may need support while actively working to help themselves. There is something meaningful in witnessing individuals learn, relearn, and grow whether for the first time or after life has disrupted their path. I believe there is beauty in that process and value the resilience it takes to keep moving forward.
